How To & What To Rules:

You have worked hard, and you now deserve to start your long-awaited break in the sun.

We want you to feel as if you were in your own home.

Please grab a drink, sit out on the balcony, put your feet up read through this and please note the rules.

It will only take you 5 minutes.

Here at your fingertips is everything you should need for your stay with us, but if you have any further questions, please reach out.

This guide is designed to help you stay here at Skol Apartments Marbella and to anticipate any questions you may have about the apartment, the area, and its amenities.

We are on site 8am to 8pm and usually around reception or pool/gardens most of the morning.

If you have an emergency, you can go down to reception. The Skol maintenance service is open from 8am to 12pm and the entrance desk in manned 24 hours.

Most appliances are the same as those you have in your own home. Here, you have the instruction videos, but if you have any doubts about using them, please take a picture and upload it to Google; it will tell you exactly how to operate it. Still scared to press the wrong button? Send us a message and we'll send maintenance for help when possible.

We provide a starter pack of a bottle of cool water, toilet rolls, liquid soap by the basin, and washing up liquid in the kitchen, once finished you'll have to go to the supermarket and get your owns, we're self-catering apartments.

In the shower, you’ll find a dispenser with body soap and shampoo. You will need to buy these supplies for the rest of your stay.

You should have found 2 sets of keys in the envelope, the big key is for the street doors: the A block one, the garden one and the B/C block one that leads you to the street behind. There's also a small grey fob, that is the digital key for the street door, it's either one or the other.

Please be aware that this street door in B/C block remains closed from midnight to 8am.

The smaller key is the apartment door key.

If your safe is on key, you'll find a small key for it too.

Don’t use the towels to remove make up, wipe your sandy feet or take them down to the pool/beach. We have beach towels available, you should have found one for each guest in your apartment.

Most of the curtains are on cords, so please use them and don’t just pull the curtains as you may damage them.

The sofa have covers, please make sure you have them on at all times.

Make sure you fold the blind on the terrace before leaving the apartment, as it can get damaged if it gets windy.

Close all the windows as we’re on the beachfront, and it can get suddenly windy.

We are not to be held responsible for any items (valuable or not) left behind in the apartment, at any time of your stay or after your departure.

It is your sole responsibility to lock the door, use the safe, and make sure you carry all your belongings with you.

Make sure you don’t lock yourself out and especially that you don’t leave the key in the lock behind the door, as we will have to call a locksmith and bill you 120€.

If you loose a set of keys we will charge you 30€

Although well maintained, Skol is an old building and walls, floors, and ceilings are thin, so please make sure your voice level is low, you only wear slippers when in the apartment and prevent all sort of noises. If you have children with you, make sure they don’t run in the corridors and reception. 

Please be aware that the staircase floor is marble and can be slippery and dangerous.

The are 2 WIFI areas in the reception of A and C block and you get the signal in the gardens, for which you find the network and password in the reception.

Please make sure that you remove your rubbish daily to avoid unwanted guests.

You can dispose of your rubbish between 12pm and 2pm and 9pm and 11pm in the separate containers located behind Skol building, at the exit of B block. They have different colours and have labels showing where each kind goes.

If you don’t remove the rubbish, we’ll charge you 20€

Appliances Info:

AIR CON: the remotes are already set on the right temperature, so just press ON/OFF, don’t start pressing buttons are you’ll unsettle the system and the maintenance will need to be called in.

Don’t leave the air conditioning unit on all day and night long, as it gets damaged. If you go out, make sure to switch it off. You’ll find a remote near each unit. If you notice water dripping out of it, DON’T PANIC, just switch it off and call us to report.

HEATING: The AC also works to heat up, so again just press ON and it'll come up automatically at the right temperature. In addition, there are electric heaters that you can plug in.

All TVs are smart, so press the home button 🏠 on the remote to access the usual APPS

Netflix, Amazon Prime, Youtube, etc. log in with your own username and password, and remember to wipe them on departure.

Normal TV: Press HDMI and you'll access a large variety, please not it's internet TV so not every day all channels are the same and they disappear from time to time and the only thing to do is wait for them to come back

The Skol Pool Rules:

Please note that if you're staying in Parque Marbella, Diana, Neptuno, Cibeles etc - you're not allowed in the Skol pool, which is ONLY for Skol residents.

The sunbeds are provided by the Skol maintenance team from 9 am and cost 3€ for the day; you get a mattress, and you have to use a beach towel.

Unless you are specific about a bed, you can go down later than 9am and pick one that's available. If you are specific about a certain location, then you're welcome to join the line from 7.30 or 8 am.

Bath towels from the apartment are not allowed.

Towels or your own chairs/loungers on the grass are not allowed.

If you have kids make sure they do not go in the pool with their slippers on.

Make sure your swimsuit or bikini is compliant with EU laws.

The lower pool is for over 14 and is for swimming only, no inflatable toys are allowed in the lower pool.

Ball games are not permitted in the garden.

No glass is permitted within the gardens and pool. Please use plastic

The pool bar is open Tuesday to Saturday from 12 to 17, make sure you visit them and support their business
