The apartment
A 2-bedroom on the 8th floor of the Skol B block β all on one level (no stairs inside), recently refurbished in light, calm tones. Both bedrooms have two single beds that push together to make a super-king, so you can run it as two doubles (couples, friends) or four singles (a family with two kids). One bathroom with a bath.
Open-plan kitchen with coffee machine, oven, microwave and fridge. Air conditioning and heating, super-fast fibre WiFi. Large south-facing terrace β the rare orientation that catches the sun from morning to evening, looking down over the pool and the tropical gardens.
Three pools set in the tropical gardens β a shallow kids' pool (40cm), a 140cm pool for playing, and a 2m pool for proper swimming. Sun loungers β¬3 per day.
The location
Avenida Arias Maldonado 16 β the heart of central Marbella, right on the Paseo MarΓtimo promenade.
Step out and you're on Fontanilla beach. Marbella Old Town is a 10-minute walk. Family-run tapas bars, chiringuitos and supermarkets all at your doorstep. No car needed β and the dog can do the promenade with you.
Mid-June into July is the Marbella sweet spot: sea at 21Β°C and warming, sardine espeto season at peak, San Juan night on Fontanilla beach on 23 June, and the Starlite festival open at the old marble quarry from 19 June.

Q: South-facing β what does that mean in practice?Β
A: The terrace catches the sun from morning to evening. Brilliant for slow lunches, sundowners, and the rare combination of working with the sea breeze and the sun on you. Even in winter it's the warmest orientation in the building.
Q: Can the second bedroom work as an office? A: Yes β both bedrooms can stay as two singles, so the second one becomes a dedicated workspace with its own door. Fibre WiFi reaches throughout.
Q: How far is the beach? A: Steps away. Out of the building, across the promenade, onto Fontanilla beach.
