The apartment
A 2-bedroom duplex on the top floor of the Skol A block β recently refurbished in light, calm tones, split over two levels. The main bedroom has a double bed; the second bedroom has two single beds that push together to make a super-king (so it works for couples-and-friends or a family with two kids). The lounge has a double sofa bed for the fifth guest or for the kids. One bathroom with a bath β rare across the building.
Open-plan kitchen with coffee machine, oven, microwave and fridge. Air conditioning and heating, super-fast fibre WiFi. Large west-facing terrace with afternoon sun, looking down over the pool and the tropical gardens β and being top floor of the A block, with no apartment above, the view stretches further than from any flat below.
Three pools set in the tropical gardens β a shallow kids' pool (40cm), a 140cm pool for playing, and a 2m pool for proper swimming. Sun loungers β¬3 per day.
The location
Avenida Arias Maldonado 16 β the heart of central Marbella, right on the Paseo MarΓtimo promenade.
Step out and you're on Fontanilla beach. Marbella Old Town is a 10-minute walk. Family-run tapas bars, chiringuitos and supermarkets all at your doorstep. No car needed.
Mid-June into July is the Marbella sweet spot: sea at 21Β°C and warming, sardine espeto season at peak, San Juan night on Fontanilla beach on 23 June, and the Starlite festival open at the old marble quarry from 19 June.

Q: Is it pet-friendly? A: No β this apartment doesn't allow pets. We have other Skol apartments that do.
Q: How far is the beach? A: Steps away. Out of the building, across the promenade, onto Fontanilla beach.
