The apartment

A bright corner 1-bedroom on the 3rd floor of the Skol building — open-plan, tastefully done, instant holiday mood. The bedroom has two single beds that push together to make a super-king (couples) or stay separate (friends, family) — you decide at check-in. Double sofa bed in the lounge for the kids or an extra guest. Bathroom with a walk-in shower.

Open-plan kitchen with coffee machine, oven, microwave and fridge. Air conditioning and heating, super-fast fibre WiFi. South-east-facing terrace — morning sun, sea views, and enough of it to dine al fresco, watch the world go by, or work with the Mediterranean in front of you.

Three pools set in the tropical gardens — a shallow kids' pool (40cm), a 140cm pool for playing, and a 2m pool for proper swimming. Sun loungers €3 per day.

The location

Avenida Arias Maldonado 16 — the heart of central Marbella, right on the Paseo Marítimo promenade.

Step out and you're on Fontanilla beach. Marbella Old Town is a 10-minute walk. Puerto Banús is 6km — walkable along the seafront, by bus or by boat. Family-run tapas bars, chiringuitos and supermarkets all at your doorstep. No car needed.
