The apartment

A bright 1-bedroom duplex on the 2nd floor of the Skol A block — recently redecorated in light, calm colours, set up for a slower kind of stay. Two single beds in the bedroom that push together to make a super-king, and a double sofa bed in the lounge for the kids or an extra guest. Bathroom with a walk-in shower.

Open-plan kitchen with coffee machine, oven, microwave and fridge. Air conditioning and heating, super-fast fibre WiFi. Large terrace with park, beach and neighbourhood views — east-facing, so you get the morning sun for slow breakfasts and the calm of the park rather than the bustle of the seafront.

Three pools set in the tropical gardens — a shallow kids' pool (40cm), a 140cm pool for playing, and a 2m pool for proper swimming. Sun loungers €3 per day.
