The apartment
A recently refurbished corner studio on the 2nd floor of the Skol A block — south-east-facing, with the kind of terrace that turns the apartment into the view. Two single beds in the studio space that push together to make a super-king, and a sofa bed for the third guest. One bathroom with a large walk-in shower.
Open-plan kitchen with coffee machine, oven, microwave and fridge. Air conditioning and heating, super-fast fibre WiFi. The large south-east corner terrace catches the sun all day and gives a 180° sweep — sea, beach, park, the Paseo Marítimo promenade, and out as far as the marina. Most apartments in the building get one direction; the corner gets all of them.
Three pools set in the tropical gardens — a shallow kids' pool (40cm), a 140cm pool for playing, and a 2m pool for proper swimming. Sun loungers €3 per day.
The location
Avenida Arias Maldonado 16 — the heart of central Marbella, right on the Paseo Marítimo promenade.
Step out and you're on Fontanilla beach. Marbella Old Town is a 10-minute walk. Family-run tapas bars, chiringuitos and supermarkets all at your doorstep. No car needed — and the dog can do the promenade with you.
Mid-June into July is the Marbella sweet spot: sea at 21°C and warming, sardine espeto season at peak, San Juan night on Fontanilla beach on 23 June, and the Starlite festival open at the old marble quarry from 19 June.
