The apartment
A bright open-plan studio on the 1st floor of the Skol A block β west-facing, afternoon sun, the kind of compact set-up that works for one, two, or a small group of "quiet friends" (the page's own line, and it's apt). Two single beds in the sleeping area and a double sofa bed in the lounge β sleeps 3.
Open-plan kitchen with blender, toaster, coffee machine, oven and microwave β set up for healthy cooking. Air conditioning and heating, super-fast fibre WiFi. Large west-facing terrace with sea views β built for al fresco lunches, sundown drinks, working with the Mediterranean in front of you, or just soaking in what we call "powerful vitamin sea".
Three pools set in the tropical gardens β a shallow kids' pool (40cm), a 140cm pool for playing, and a 2m pool for proper swimming. Sun loungers β¬3 per day.

Avenida Arias Maldonado 16 β the heart of central Marbella, right on the Paseo MarΓtimo promenade.
Step out and you're on Fontanilla beach. Marbella Old Town is a 10-minute walk. Family-run tapas bars, chiringuitos and supermarkets all at your doorstep. No car needed β and the dog can do the promenade with you.
